Bandipora, Feb 27: The Kulgam chapter of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a protest rally on Monday in response to the killing of a Kashmiri Pandit.
The party’s workers took to the streets of Kulgam town to protest the killing of a minority community member in Pulwama on Sunday.
Zubair Ganie, district president of the BJP in Kulgam, was leading the protests, which concluded peacefully.
“We condemn the innocent killing of Sanjay ji (Pandit community member slain); he was innocent, and killing him is barbaric, and it demonstrates militant frustration,” Zubair added.
He stated that the security forces are adequately equipped to react and that they must retaliate decisively.
“Innocent killings, band karo, band karo,” the demonstrators chanted besides “Maasoom ka katl aam, band karo, band karo.”
He stated that the security forces will soon neutralise the militants who committed this horrible act in Pulwama.
