JAMMU, Jun 13: Union Minister of State for Defence, Ajay Bhatt, said on Tuesday that the BJP-led central government has “zero tolerance” for terrorism, adding that since Article 370 was repealed, “J&K has been completely and firmly” integrated into the national mainstream.
This was stated by the union minister while talking to media persons on the sidelines of ‘RojgarMela’ organised at Convention Centre, Jammu.
He stated that the recent G-20 meeting in J&K “has also demonstrated to the world that the Union Territory (UT) of J&K is moving quickly on the path of development.”
The Union minister, J&K has been firmly integrated into the national mainstream since the repeal of Article 370, and this UT has been reaping/getting the benefits of democracy and overall development.
“The Modi government has a zero tolerance policy towards terrorism,” the Union minister said, adding that “the government has been working for development in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Bhatt said the Modi government has proven everyone wrong by peacefully hosting the G20 summit in the J&K UT. “The G-20 meeting demonstrated to the world that Jammu and Kashmir is rapidly progressing,” he said.
The Union minister also said that there is no alternative to Prime Minister NarendraModi in the country and expressed confidence that Modi will be re-elected as Prime Minister in the 2024 LokSabha elections.
“In 2024, people of the country will again vote for NarendraModi with a thumping majority,” Bhatt said.

He said the decision to remove Article 370 paved way for overall development in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked those opposing revocation of Article 370 to visit J&K and witness the positive changes and development here.
“Traders are happy, boatmen are happy, hotels are full and tourism has picked up in J&K,” he said.
