Jammu, Feb 06: Former MLA and BJP Spokesperson Ranbir Singh Pathania Monday called for sensitising revenue officers and local administration regarding keeping small, landless and indigent persons out of the sting and scope of eviction drive.
He was interacting with a deputation of affected land owners.
The former legislators called upon the UT-level dispensation to adopt a humanitarian approach while going ahead with eviction drives on state, kahcharai and roshni lands held by poor, landless and  indigent people.
Pathania called for adopting a humanitarian approach as these people  are dependent upon these lands for their housing as well as  vocation.  “We should look for  a plausible way out and rather a formula as to how these small pieces of lands could be regularised in their favour”.
Howsoever, he was all welcome for government’s move of vacating encroachment on state, kahcharai and roshni lands of from bureaucrats, politicians and big businessman
Pathania said that forces which have been dividing and creating dissensions in the people stand exposed and marginalised. “All-out campaign of the government against terrorism, corruption and secessionism has set a trend and rather a wave in J & K whereby people have come to heave a sigh of relief”.
He made a scathing attack on secessionist forces and said that forces which have bred secession, promoted division, and spread hatred stand now exposed. J”&K which had been an abode of research, learning, intellect since times immemorial is back to bloom and blossom and regain its lost glory”.
Pathania further called upon the party cadres to remain vigilant and educate and enlighten people about policies and programmes of the Modi level government.
