‘Police martyrs unforgettable members of Police Parivaar’

Baramulla: Police on Monday facilitated meeting with the next of kin of police martyrs in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The meeting was organized at District Police Lines Baramulla and was chaired by SSP Baramulla Amod Ashok Nagpure. DySP DAR DPL Baramulla and others officers were also present on the occasion.
“The meeting was attended by large number of NOKs of Police martyrs of Baramulla district. The aim of the meeting was to take stock of the welfare of the families of Police Martyrs who laid their precious lives in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation,” a police spokesperson said in a statement. “SSP Baramulla gave a patient hearing to the issues and grievances put forth by NOKs and assured them that their grievances will be redressed on priority.”
SSP Baramulla informed the participants that various welfare measures have been taken by the police department for the benefit of the NOKs and all the police units are committed to provide all possible assistance to the NOKs of police martyrs on priority. 
“Police martyrs are unforgettable members of Police Parivaar and taking care of their NOKs is prime responsibility of police department as martyrs sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation,” the SSP said. He informed all the NOKs to approach his office anytime for any assistance. “NOKs of police martyrs expressed their satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond,” he added.
