ADDC Ganderbal chairs Bock Diwas at Manasbal

Ganderbal, Aug 02: To have firsthand appraisal of public grievances, the District Administration Ganderbal on Wednesday conducted grievances redressal camp as part of weekly Block Diwas for block Safapora at Meeting Hall of Manasbal Development Authority, Ganderbal.
The Grievances camp was presided over by Additional District Development Commissioner Ganderbal, Mushtaq Ahmad Simnani.
The camp witnessed overwhelming participation of individuals and PRIs of block Safapora including DDC member Safapora and BDC Chairperson Safapora who apprised the ADDC about the problems being faced by the people and genuine concerns of development.
The main issues highlighted during the camp were related to augmentation of water supply and electricity infrastructure, permanent repairing of Lar canal, better healthcare facilities, illegal mining, regularization of mineral rates, repairing of waste segregation plants and other issues of public importance.
The ADDC gave a patient hearing to visiting people and passed on the spot directions to the concerned officers for early redressal of their genuine grievances pertaining to their departments.
While interacting with locals, the ADDC said that District Administration is serious about resolving the issues raised by the people and PRI members through various forms in a time bound manner and assured them that their concerns will be looked at on priority.
The programme was attended by District Program Officer, District Panchayat Officer, Tehsildar Safapora, DSHO, AD Handloom & Handicrafts, BDO Safapora and other district and sectoral officers.
