Budgam, June 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo Monday visited the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), campus, Budgam to take stock of the pace and progress of ongoing works.
The DC accompanied by Director NIFT, Javed Ahmad Wani, Executive Engineer SIDCO and other concerned officers inspected construction works of auditorium, Boys hostel, residential enclave and development of interior roads and other facilities.
The DC also took stock of development of parking facilities and landscaping works.
He stressed on expediting pace of work on all ongoing projects and directed the concerned executing agencies to complete the works within the shortest possible time period.
The DC emphasized that the work process on the National level project be carried out smoothly in a coordinated, seamless and timely manner so that the integrated campus of the prestigious national institute can be officially inaugurated soon and dedicated to the people.
