SRINAGAR, May 26: A delegation of the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party led by senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir on Tuesday visited Galwanpora in Budgam district to offer condolences to the family of the minor girl whose tragic death has sparked widespread outrage across Kashmir.

The delegation met the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them during the hour of grief. Several senior party leaders accompanied Mir during the visit.

Speaking on the occasion, Ghulam Hassan Mir strongly condemned the incident and termed it a shocking crime that has shaken the conscience of society. He said the safety and dignity of children must remain a top priority and demanded strict action against those involved.

The delegation urged the administration and law enforcement agencies to ensure a swift, transparent and time-bound investigation into the case. They also demanded exemplary punishment for the accused.

The party leaders offered prayers for the departed soul and expressed support for the family in their pursuit of justice.
