Today, our athletes are showcasing outstanding performances at the national and international levels, a feat acknowledged by the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. His relentless efforts to encourage athletes have resulted in the provision of state-of-the-art facilities, not only in urban areas but also in rural regions. The goal is to nurture talent from both cities and villages, enhancing the pride of our nation.

Our fencers, in particular, have consistently delivered commendable performances. Initiatives are being taken to improve their facilities, with a focus on ensuring that Jammu and Kashmir produces more skilled fencers who can elevate the country’s prestige on the national and international stage.

The endeavors made so far are aimed at boosting the nation’s pride through the exemplary performances of our athletes, and we are committed to continuing these efforts. It is our aspiration that in the times ahead, Jammu and Kashmir will contribute even more talented fencers to elevate the country’s glory on the national and international platforms.

The Jammu and Kashmir fencers not only showcased their athletic prowess but also embodied the spirit of sportsmanship throughout the competition.

The 6th Khelo India Youth National Games provided a platform for these talented fencers to shine, leaving a lasting mark on Indian sports history.
