In a rare occurrence, a woman from Keran area of Kupwara district has delivered quadruplets at SDH Kupwara after being referred from PHC Keran due to labor pains.
The team led by Dr. Shazia, assisted her in the successful delivery of three girls and a boy.
Both the mother and babies are in good health, with the Medical Superintendent, Dr. Mohammad Shafi, noting the challenge of such cases but praising the team’s expertise in handling this unusual delivery.
