Srinagar, Mar 08: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh, also the party’s in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir, hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to the valley as a significant turning point.
Chugh said the overwhelming response from the people during the PM’s visit showcased a newfound awareness among the populace, exposing what he termed as the “nefarious and anti-national game plan” of the Nehru, Mufti and Abdullah families.
According to Chugh, these three political dynasties have historically perpetuated a culture of violence and conflict to serve their own interests. However, he asserted that a new era has dawned in Jammu and Kashmir, with tourism and development emerging as the primary focus areas.
Highlighting the realization among the people of Jammu and Kashmir regarding the detrimental effects of the policies pursued by the aforementioned families, the BJP leader expressed optimism and hope for a brighter future.
