A Two-day Painting Exhibition was organized today by J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages in collaboration with Army School Damana, in K.L.Saigal Hall, Abhinav Theatre, Jammu under the theme ‘Studio Oasis-Creativity Blooms Here’.
The event was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Padma Shri Mohan Singh Slathia, a versatile artist known for his exceptional work in the field of Dogri Language, Art and Literature and Guest of Honour Lt Col Randeep Singh Slathia SO School.
Principal APS Damana, Pushpinder Kaur applauded the efforts of the young artists and appreciated the aesthetic sense of connectivity of young minds.
Popinder Singh, Sr. Editor and Irshad Hussain Tantray, Exhibition Officer JKAACL also shared the dais with the dignitaries.
Under the guidance of Bharat Singh, Secretary, JKAACL the art exhibition has been organized to showcase the aesthetic sensibility of the students’, enhancing their artistic skills, creativity, and help them to be inquisitive and think analytically. The young budding artists of classes IX –XII spellbound the audience with their captivating prowess and exhibits.
The event was witnessed by APS Jammu Cantt, APS Miran Sahib, APS Samba, Model Academy and KV Bantalab which come under Cluster I and CBSE HUBS OF LEARNING. The occasion was graced by the august presence of almost 200 participants from various schools and their escort teachers. The welcome note was presented by Vanshika Magotra, Head Girl of the school followed by the inaugural address by the Chief Guest. The visitors had a glance at various artistic exhibits of the students.
