YNC cadre playing vital role in promoting NC’s policies: Tejinder

Jammu, Mar 26: Youth National Conference Provincial President, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman on Wednesday hailed the role of YNC in disseminating the party’s policies and vision effectively.
He reiterated that the present government, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, remains steadfast in its commitment to youth empowerment, ensuring their active participation in the decision-making process.
According to a statement issued here, Singh was accorded a grand welcome by the District Body of National Conference and Youth National Conference in Kathua.. The reception was followed by a meeting chaired by Singh, where he extensively discussed the pressing issues faced by the youth in the region.
Ajit Kumar, District President Jammu Kashmir National Conference Kathua, K.K Bakhshi District Secretary Kathua, Devinder Mehta Block President Lakhanpur, J.P Singh Block President, Shakeel Ahmad Tony along with other members of the District Committee and YNC organized the program, ensuring a platform for young voices to be heard. During the meeting, Ajit Kumar apprised the Provincial President over the alarming rise in drug peddling activities in the region, calling for stringent measures to curb the menace that threatens the future of the youth.
Acknowledging the relentless efforts of the party cadre in strengthening the Youth National Conference at the grassroots level, Tejinder urged the party’s high command to recognise and provide opportunities to dedicated and hardworking youth in the upcoming Panchayat and Urban Local Bodies elections. “These young leaders must be given a chance to prove their mettle and contribute meaningfully to the development of their communities,” he said.
Nitish Gowsami and Hameed Choudhary called upon the youth to actively participate in the political process and work collectively to address the challenges faced by the region. They emphasized that the YNC would continue to fight for the rights of every section of society and ensure inclusive development across Jammu and Kashmir.
The meeting concluded with a strong resolve to intensify efforts in addressing youth-related concerns and strengthening the party’s organizational structure at all levels.
Those who were present included:- Harpeet Sethi, Suresh Kumar, Anoop Gupta, Ankush Singh, Balvinder Singh Jalmeria, Rohit Singh, Sahil Andotra, Deepu Singh, Badhur Singh, Makul Singh, Vicky Singh and others.
