Budgam: The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Budgam, Dr Ayoub, conducted inspections of various health institutions in Block Khansahib to assess their functioning and address any issues affecting healthcare delivery in the region.
During the inspection, Dr Ayoub visited several health facilities, including the Community Health Center (CHC) Krimshore, which offers round-the-clock services, Primary Health Center (PHC) Arigam, Health and Wellness Center Rithan, Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Khansahib, and Sub-Center Kreshipora.
Key aspects of the inspection included checking the daily attendance of staff and assessing the availability of essential drugs and medicines. Dr Ayoub also raised awareness among the public about the various health facilities available, National Health Mission (NHM) schemes, and the importance of prescribed medications. Issues related to infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and manpower were identified during the inspection.
The CMO assured the public that their genuine demands and concerns would be addressed with higher authorities to ensure improved healthcare services in the area. He emphasized the importance of implementing healthcare schemes effectively to benefit every individual in the community. The officer instructed the staff to adhere to the guidelines and ensure the proper implementation of all schemes to achieve their objectives at the grassroots level.
Dr Ayoub directed the Block Medical Officer (BMO) to prioritize the delivery of high-quality treatment and to make necessary facilities available at the doorsteps of residents, especially in far-flung areas. He expressed satisfaction with the performance of the health sector in Block Khansahib and reiterated his commitment to improving healthcare services for the residents.
