Srinagar, Dec 18: Additional Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), J&K Zone, Nalin Prabhat on Monday said emphasized the relentless use of tools and technologies by security forces to eliminate terrorism in Kashmir.
Talking to reporters on the side-lines of an event, ADG CRPF said they are using all tools to wipe-out terrorism from Kashmir. He said that it did not matter how many terrorists were active as they would all meet the same fate.
“How does it matter how many they are? Whether they are two, 20 or 50, they will all be wasted. A terrorist cannot be an icon. The kids, who go on to become sportspersons, doctors and engineers are the real icons,” he added.
He said anyone who chooses to join terrorist ranks or associate with any terrorist organization, whether in twos or fifties, are essentially signing their own death warrants upon joining.
“Anyone who becomes a terrorist or joins a terrorist organisation signs his death warrant. They (terrorists) will end because the almighty is with us, with the people and with the nation,” ADG CRPF said.
He said Pinjora village of Shopian, which was once a hotbed for terrorists, has undergone a transformative change. Two local youths actively participated in this program, emerging as youth icons destined for careers as doctors, sportsmen, and more.
“In stark contrast, terrorists and their commanders cannot be considered icons in any way. The divine support is with us, our country, and the people of the region. With these efforts, the influence of terrorists will undoubtedly wane in Kashmir,” ADG CRPF said.
The senior CRPF officer said that the basic thing we have to understand is that in today’s environment, terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir is no longer fashionable, it is a dirty word. That’s why they (terrorists) will be finished,” he said.
