Srinagar, Jan 02: Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Thursday said the removal of one of the oldest security bunkers in Srinagar city is a welcome step and reflects an improvement in the security situation.
He said peace is essential for a brighter future for the youth and future generations of Jammu and Kashmir.
Apni Party chief wrote on his X handle, “Glad to know that one of the oldest security bunkers, which stood for over 30 years in the Safakadal area of Srinagar city, has been removed. This clearly indicates an improvement in Srinagar’s security situation. Local residents have welcomed the decision.”
He added, “Small steps like these give hope that J&K is gradually moving toward a peaceful and stable environment, which is essential for a brighter future for our youth and future generations.”
