BJP Kashmir celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas with patriotic fervour

Srinagar, July 26: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashmir unit celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with great enthusiasm and reverence across the valley. The main event was organised at the BJP head office, Jawahar Nagar here to honour the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian Armed Forces during the Kargil War.
The programme began with a tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. Senior BJP leaders addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and the indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers, the party said in a statement issued here.
They said it is important to remember the sacrifices made by the soldiers and to support the families of the martyrs. The leaders also spoke about the strategic importance of the Kargil victory and how it continues to inspire the nation.
Prominent leaders, including BJP Media Incharge Kashmir Adv Sajid Yousuf Shah, General Secretary Minority Morcha Bhat Imtiyaz, Prabhari J&K Minority Morcha Sheikh Bashir, Senior Leader Sheikh Rashid, and NGO Sampark Incharge Saba Bhat, shared their experiences and recounted the heroic tales of the Kargil War. The atmosphere was charged with patriotism as participants chanted slogans in honor of the armed forces, the statement said.
The programme concluded with a pledge to uphold the values and integrity of the nation, followed by the collective singing of the national anthem.
