Speaking on the occasion, Mir said that the joining of leaders from different political parties shows that Apni Party has gained ground in Udhampur district also like other regions of Jammu and Kashmir due to its politics of telling the truth to the people without exploiting their emotions.
He appreciated the new entrants into the party and asked the party leaders to work among the people to make people aware about the policy and agenda of Apni Party.
Mir said that “The people of both the regions are demanding restoration of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir and holding of assembly elections to address the growing issues of the people whether it is unemployment, issues of providing basic amenities,  protection to the natural resources.”
He said that the Apni Party is committed to work for the upliftment of the living standard of the people and accordingly, the party has assured to implement social security schemes in Jammu and Kashmir’s both regions.
“We are committed to enhance the old age pension up to Rs 5000, free electricity to the people of Jammu up to 500 units during summers and 300 units during winters whereas the people in Kashmir will get 500 units of free electricity during winter season and 300 units during summer season,” he said.
