Srinagar, July 30: The 25th District Srinagar Sqay Championship concluded on Tuesday at the Sports Complex Polo Ground in Srinagar. Organized by the District Sqay Association Srinagar, the event witnessed the participation of over 100 talented boys and girls.
Shakil Hafiz, President of the Kashmir School Federation, was the chief guest at the concluding function. In his address, Mr. Hafiz emphasized the significant role of sports in shaping the youth and lauded the District Sqay Association Srinagar for their unwavering dedication to promoting the traditional martial art of Sqay in the region.
The championship, which featured various events and competitions, aimed to provide a platform for young athletes to showcase their skills and promote a drug-free Srinagar. Winners were awarded prizes and recognition for their outstanding performances.
