Srinagar, May 24: An envoy from Bahrain representing Gulf countries council who attended the 3rd G20 Tourism Working Group Meeting in Kashmir on Wednesday expressed his positive impressions of their recent visit to Kashmir, emphasizing the state’s natural beauty and the warm hospitality they received.
Taking to reporters here at Polo view area of Srinagar, the representative highlighted the importance of personally experiencing the region’s allure rather than relying on negative portrayals from other countries.
“In my first visit to Kashmir, I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty that surpassed all descriptions. It is imperative for anyone to witness this mesmerizing place first-hand. Contrary to misconceptions, Kashmir holds no resemblance to the negative imagery portrayed elsewhere. We, as international delegates, now have a significant responsibility to promote this destination even more, building upon its natural charm, which is already a testament to its marketing potential,” he said.
“During our visit, we were privileged to participate in a warm welcome ceremony and experience exceptional hospitality. The local government organized several fantastic events, leaving a lasting impression on us. The genuine kindness and graciousness of the people here, coupled with the numerous other aspects of this place, contribute to its allure,” he added.
“Kashmir’s natural beauty makes it an ideal location for film shooting, and I believe that Gulf countries will surely explore this potential further. By doing so, they can capture the true essence of beautification that Kashmir offers,” he added.
