A youth slipped to death while walking towards forests in Baba Nagri Wangath area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, official sources said.
Official sources revealed that the unfortunate incident occured when a youth namely Mohd Amjid Raina S/O Mohd Amain Raina R/o Baba Nagri Wangat was walking towards upper reaches of forest area of Babanagri to take care of live stock , however he slipped from the mountainous slopes resulting in his on spot death.
They said soon after the incident happened, Police and locals reached the spot and retrieved his body.
They added that his body was later brought to his home for last rites.
