Will raise your concerns with CM: Dr Farooq to delegations

Srinagar, Nov 07: Several delegations, including employees from the Food Supplies Department, JKPC, Agriculture Department and retired employees of the Old Matchbox Factory Baramulla on Thursday met the National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah at his Gupkar residence here.
The delegations apprised Dr Abdullah of the various challenges and grievances they face, the party said in a statement issued here, adding, “Dr Farooq Abdullah gave them a patient hearing and assured the delegations that their concerns would be promptly raised with the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and the concerned ministers.”
On the occasion, senior leaders and former ministers, including Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo, Ajay Sadhotra and party leader Aga Syed Yousuf were also present. They extended their support to the visiting delegations. A delegation from Vijaypur, Jammu, led by Haji Jaffar also met Dr Farooq and other senior party leaders.
Meanwhile, the NC chief visited the residence of the late Haji Ali Mohammad Wani in Nowgam to offer his deepest condolences and sympathies to the bereaved family.
Dr Farooq honoured the memory of the late Haji Ali Mohammad Wani, a renowned businessman and highly respected individual, by offering Fateha Khawani for his departed soul. He extended heartfelt condolences to the grieving family, including Haji Ali Mohammad Wani’s sons, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Accompanied by Ghulam Mohammad Mir Saki, Dr Abdullah was joined by senior party leaders and MLAs Nazir Ahmed Khan, Ali Mohammad Dar and Mushtaq Ahmed Guroo in visiting the mourning family to express their condolences.
