Bandipora, sep 05; Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Thursday held a series of meetings with workers and supporters in various areas of the Bandipora Constituency, including Dardpora, Konan, Arin, Nussoo, and Papachan. During these gatherings, Majid highlighted his transformative work over the years and reaffirmed his commitment to the region’s development.
Speaking at the meetings, Majid said, “My work speaks. I have transformed Bandipora to the next level. “It was after my first election victory that Bandipora began to see the transformation it so desperately needed. “My unwavering commitment, honesty and deep-rooted dedication to the people of Bandipora have led to remarkable achievements that have uplifted our region, turning it into a thriving hub of development.”
He emphasized on the progress made under his stewardship, both as MLA and Planning Minister. “Under my leadership, Bandipora has witnessed unprecedented infrastructure development and economic growth. Roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and other vital projects have been initiated and completed, laying a foundation for a brighter future,” Majid said.
Addressing the series of meetings, he reminded the people of his consistent dedication. “I need no introduction to the people of Bandipora. My dedication has always been evident, as I have remained at the doorstep of the people, no matter the circumstances,” Majid emphasized. He pointed out his fair and inclusive approach, stating, “Whether in power or in opposition, I have treated my political opponents with the same respect and fairness as my own cadre and workers. My approach has always been one of inclusivity and fairness, ensuring every voice is heard and every concern is addressed. I have always prioritised public welfare over Power. ”
Majid expressed confidence in the electorate’s decision. “The people of Bandipora are committed to progress and development. They recognize the real and true leader—someone who has stood by them through good times and unprecedented challenges. Bandipora will vote for me because they know I will continue to take their progress and development to the next level,” he added.
