Two OGWs of TRF/LeT outfit arrested in Kulgam; Arms and ammunition recovered

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested two OGWs of TRF/LeT terror outfit and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

A Police spokesperson said, “During the investigation of case vide FIR number 262/2024 registered under relevant sections of law at police station Qazigund, two OGWs namely Altaf Ahmad Lone Son of Abdul Ahad Lone resident of Kachoora Zadoora and Manzoor Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Nipora, Mirbazar were apprehended at Ghulab Bagh Qazigund.”

“During questioning the accused disclosed possession of arms and ammunition. On their disclosure 02 AK 56 rifles, 04 AK series Magazines and 79 live cartridges of AK series were recovered”, he said.

The accused were acting on the directions of Pakistani handler Hamza Bhai and were in process of carrying terror activities in the area. Investigation of case is going on.
