There is no doubt now that the world order is changing. We are entering a new world order that will define the geo-strategic affairs for a longer time to come. And in such a scenario there is a need to be watchful as far as the new political calculus is concerned. Donald Trump is going to lead the United States of America(USA) in a few days. He is known for frontal attacks on his adversaries and he minces no words when it comes to safeguard and upholding American interests. “America First” defines his politics and no one can question his commitment towards his nation that he has repeatedly shown and asserted through his arguments during the debates and public performances while contesting for the Presidentship. He is a shrewd businessman who knows the pulse of the market and knows how to control the markets for the interests of his nation. In direct warning he has said if the Israelis and Americans are not released from captivity then the situation will be devastating in West Asia, having adverse effects on the entire world. It is an open secret now that the conflict in West Asia has snowballed as it involves the human factor on both sides. President Elect Donald Trump has given the ultimatum till 20th January for the release of the hostages and in case it does not materialise , he has given a clear indication that the situation will escalate beyond escalation. He has not stopped at that he has went beyond and has warned Canada to merge into the US as the 51st state .He has said that he will use the economic force to achieve it.While answering to the queries of the media persons he has said that he will get rid of the artificially drawn line and it will be better for the national security of the US. For the past few weeks Trump has been mocking the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as Governor of Canada to belittle him.Justifying his stance Trump has said, “I love the Canadian people, they’re great. But we’re spending hundreds of billions a year to protect it. We’re spending hundreds of billions a year to take care of Canada. We lose in trade deficits we’re losing massive — we don’t need their cars. You know, they make 20% of our cars. We don’t need that. I’d rather make them in Detroit. We don’t need the cars; we don’t need their lumber. We have massive fields of lumber. We don’t need their lumber. We have to un-restrict them because stupid people put restrictions, but I can do that with an executive order. We don’t need anything they have. We don’t need their dairy products, we have more than they have. We don’t need anything.” Underlining the economic burden that the US has to bear to protect Canada, Donald Trump has categorically said, “So, why are we losing USD 200 billion a year and more to protect Canada? And I said that to, as I called him, Governor Trudeau, I said, listen, what would happen if we didn’t subsidise you, … Here’s what we have, we have a right not to help them with their financial difficulties because we owe USD 36 trillion too. We’re going to start knocking it out pretty fast, but we’re going to be able to do it because of energy and other things. But why are we supporting a country of USD 200 billion plus a year?”He has given many examples that make his agenda clear. The coming days are going to be crucial when Donald Trump assumes his office as the President of the US.West Asia and Canada will be top on his agenda. Justin Trudeau must be pondering over his anti-India tirade when he came out in full support of the Khalistani subversives to encourage the balkanisation of India by supporting them for violating the territorial integrity and sovereignty of India. He has got the dose of his own medicine as chickens have come home to roost.
