In a tragic incident, a 2-year-old boy was mauled to death by a leopard in Sharhama village, Qalamabad, in North Kashmir’s Handwara on Friday evening.
According to officials, the young boy was playing outside his home in Sharhama when the leopard attacked him, leaving him severely injured. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The child has been identified as Hasnain Nisar, son of Nisar Ahmad Teli, a resident of Sharhama Lach.
Police have confirmed the toddler’s death to Rising Kashmir.
