Ganderbal, May 18: A massive Tiranga rally was held in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Sunday, marking the public celebration of the successful culmination of Operation Sindoor — a key initiative aimed at eliminating terrorism and strengthening peace in the region.
The rally commenced from Beehama Park, where dozens of BJP workers and local residents gathered, carrying the national flag and raising slogans against terrorism and Pakistan. The spirited procession passed through the main town and concluded peacefully near the Clock Tower in Duderhama, with the tricolour waving high and patriotic chants echoing across the area.
District President BJP Ganderbal, Ghulam Hassan Rather, addressed the rally, expressing gratitude to the Indian Army for their unwavering efforts. “We always stand with the Indian Army and congratulate them for the successful Operation Sindoor. This is a proud moment for every citizen,” he said.
The event reflected widespread local support for the operation and highlighted the people’s commitment to peace, unity, and national integrity in Jammu and Kashmir.
