A 14 year old boy on Monday evening drowned to death in Zurimanz area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Eyewitnesses told The Rising Kashmir that the incident happened at a popular selfie point near Gazebo Point, located on the shores of Wular Lake in Zurimanz area.
They said that he was taking bath when the incident happened. The onlookers immediately swung into action to rescue him.
He was shifted to District hospital Bandipora where Doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Umaan Manzoor Sheergojri, son of Manzoor Ahmad SheerGojri, resident of Baramulla.
