Srinagar, Oct 25: Highlighting the importance of collaboration among security agencies for enhanced counterterrorism measures, Army Commander of the Northern Command, Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi , stressed the necessity of synergy among all security organisations in the fight against terrorism.
Gen Dwivedi was reviewing the operational preparedness and preparation of winter strategy at Pulwama and Anantnag districts of South Kashmir.
During his visit, Lieutenant General Dwivedi not only assessed the readiness of the armed forces but also took the opportunity to interact with and commend the troops from the Indian Army (IA) and the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) for their exceptional combat preparedness.
He underscored the importance of maintaining a high standard of combat readiness.
Army spokesman said that Lt General Dwivedi interacted and felicitated the troops of IA and JKP for their high standards of combat readiness and emphasised on continued synergy with all agencies for meaningful convergence of CT efforts in the hinterland.
The Army Commander emphasized the need for continued cooperation and synergy among all security agencies to ensure effective counter-terrorism efforts in the region’s hinterland, fostering a united front in the fight against insurgency and terrorism.
