Suru Festival: CEC Kargil invites Union Min Rijiju as chief guest

New Delhi, Aug 20: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, on Wednesday met Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Government of India, Kiren Rijiju, in New Delhi.During the meeting, the CEC extended an invitation to Rijiju to attend the upcoming Suru Festival 2025, scheduled to be held on August 26, 2025, as the Chief Guest. The Union Minister graciously accepted the invitation.On the occasion, the CEC also met Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
