Ganderbal, Nov 16: Senior Superintendent of Police for Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravinder Pal Singh, conducted a comprehensive review of traffic management in Ganderbal district on Thursday.
During his visit to the district headquarters, SSP Singh addressed key issues, directing subordinates to ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the town. One of the focal points of the visit was the interaction with transporters, where he assured them that their concerns would be promptly addressed. Additionally, individuals associated with transportation shared their feedback during the visit, and SSP attentively listened to their grievances.
Emphasizing the commitment to safety, the senior officer announced that stringent actions would be taken against rash driving and other traffic violations to ensure the well-being of motorists and pedestrians.
Motorists were reminded to adhere to traffic rules, including observing speed limits, avoiding rash driving, refraining from using mobile phones while driving, and not indulging in racing or competition with other vehicles. The Traffic Police also urged compliance with regulations regarding loud music and the use of pressure or musical horns.
The visit underscores the Traffic Police’s dedication to maintaining order on the roads and fostering a safer environment for all road users in the district.
