SSB 10th battalion celebrates raising day with patriotic fervour

Srinagar, July 1: The 10th Battalion of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, proudly celebrated its 24th Raising Day on 01 July 2025 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour under the able supervision of Deepak Singh, Commandant, Vishisht Seva Medal.As per a statement issued to Rising Kashmir, the celebration commenced with a vibrant cultural programme, marked by traditional performances and patriotic songs. The event was graced by Imtiaz Ismail Parray, DIG, Sector Headquarters (Special Operations), SSB Srinagar, as the Chief Guest, who inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial lamp. In his address, the Chief Guest extended his heartfelt wishes to all officers, subordinate officers, and jawans of the unit on the auspicious occasion of their raising day. He praised the unit for its dedication, discipline, and outstanding contribution in maintaining internal security and promoting peace in the region. Following the cultural programme, a “Bada Khana” (community feast) was organised, where the Chief Guest, Commandant and other officers joined the jawans, reflecting the spirit of unity, camaraderie, and brotherhood within the force. The 24th raising day served as a moment of pride, reflection, and motivation for all personnel of 10 Bn SSB Srinagar, inspiring them to continue serving the nation with even greater zeal and commitment
