SPO among 3 held with contraband substance in Bandipora

Bandipora, Mar 02: Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a special police officer (SPO) and health employee among three drug peddlers in North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
An official told Rising Kashmir that acting on a specific information, a police party of Police Station Aragam led by SHO PS Aragam Inspector Sajad Ahmad under the supervision of DYSP Hqrs Bandipora Shafat Mohammad-JKPS Naka was laid at Gund Dachina crossing during which three drug peddlers were arrested.
He said that one among them is a special police officer(SPO) who has been terminated.
The case has been registered and investigation has been set into motion, he said.
Meanwhile public hailed Bandipora Police for their active participation and committed in eliminating this social menace.
