Jammu and Kashmir Police on Monday said that it has arrested six persons of criminal gang involved in threatening, extortion of money from people in Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
In a tweet, Srinagar police said, “6 members of a criminal gang involved in robberies arrested. The modus operandi of the Gang was to threaten & extort money from people using Toy pistols, Walkie Talkie sets & other articles. Fir no 94/2022 registered under relevant sections in Zakura PS. 2 vehicles also seized.”
