SIU Kishtwar raids six houses of terrorists operating from Pak

Srinagar, July 05: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Kishtwar Police on Wednesday raided six houses of terrorists at multiple locations in the district who are operating from Pakistan.
SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal told Rising Kashmir that different teams of police raided six houses of terrorists operating from Pakistan and during the searches proper SOP’s were followed.
“During the searches, the evidence collected shall be investigated so as to subject the accused persons to judicial determination for their involvement in anti-national activities and perpetuation of terrorism” he said.
SSP Kishtwar, Poswal said all those associates of terrorists whose involvement will be surfaced during investigations shall also be prosecuted under the law.
“These searches are aimed at eliminating the terror ecosystem in the district by identifying various over-ground workers and supporters of terrorism in the region,” he said.
SSP further said CIO of Kishtwar police, DYSP Vishal sharma, obtainined house search warrants from NIA court Jammu in case FIR No 272/2022 registered under UAPA Act at PS Kishtwar.
“After that different teams were constituted led by SDPOs including Magistrate and proper SOPs were followed by the team and raids were conducted at six locations,” he said.
The six locations including houses of Manzoor Ahmed alias Tahir Ingalabi of Dwather Singpura, Nazir Ahmed alias Shaaheen of Beighpura Singpura Chatroo, Shabir Ahmed alias Junaid of Sewa Chatroo, Mohd Igbal Rishi alias Muzamil Ansari  of Dellar Chatroo.
Mohd Amin Bhatt of Naryan Chinzam and Mohd Iqbal alias Bilal, a resident of Kichloo Market, Kishtwar, A/P Umar Mohalla Kishtwar who are presently operating from POK.
