Srinagar, June 19: The wife of Syed Abdul Hamid Simnani on Wednesday passed away after a brief illness at her residence in Rawalpora, Srinagar.
She was the mother of Syed Zulfikar Ahmed Simnani, Syed Shakeel Ahmed Simnani and Prof Syed Ruhul Amin Simnani. She was also the aunt of Prof (Dr) Syed Nazir Simnani, Principal of Government Degree College Bemina.
People from all walks of life participated in her funeral prayers (Nimaz-e-Jinaza), and offered their condolences to the bereaved family. She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard at Lane J, Alamdar Colony, Rawalpora, Srinagar.
According to family sources, her congregational Fateha will be held on Saturday, June 22, at 10:30 am at Lane J, Alamdar Colony, Rawalpora graveyard.
