H&ME constitutes committee for PPP projects in J&K

Srinagar, March 16: The Health and Medical Education Department on Thursday accorded sanction to the constitution of a project screening committee for the selection and recommendation of projects to be undertaken through Public Private Partnership (PPP).
“Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of Project Screening Committee, comprising officers of Health & Medical Education Department for selection and recommendation of potential projects to be undertaken by the department through (PPP) mode,” the H&ME said in an order here.
The members of the committee include Mission Director, National Health Mission, J&K, Director Finance, Health & Medical Education Department, Director Coordination, New GMCs, J&K Managing Director, JKMSCL, Director/Jt. Director (Planning), H&ME, Additional Secretary H&ME, Additional Secretary (Legal), H&ME and Deputy Secretary (Medical Education) H&ME.
The eight-member committee would scrutinize all the projects received from line HoDs and select/recommend the Economically/Financially viable projects having the potential to be developed through PPP mode to the concerned quarters for consideration.
