Ganderbal, June 13: In view of the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY) 2025, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore today convened a meeting to review the medical preparedness in the district here in the VC Room of DC Office, Ganderbal.

During the meeting, the Chief Medical Officer briefed the DC about the status of healthcare arrangements being put in place along the yatra route. This included the deployment of medical staff, availability of medicines, ambulances, oxygen booths, and accommodation infrastructure for medical personnel.

During the meeting, it was revealed that adequate Base Hospitals, Medical Aid Camps, and Emergency Aid Centres have been established at identified locations, which are equipped with essential medical equipment, medicines, and trained medical and paramedical staff to ensure timely and efficient healthcare services during the Yatra period.

The DC stressed the importance of ensuring complete readiness of all healthcare services well before the commencement of the Yatra.

He emphasised the need for robust coordination among all medical teams deployed along the route to facilitate seamless medical care to the pilgrims.
