Srinagar, Feb 21: Youth National Conference (YNC) Provincial President and MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar on Friday asked the party’s youth cadre to rally together and secure another victory for the party in the upcoming by-election of the Budgam constituency, as well as in the Panchayat and ULB elections.
Salman made these remarks while addressing YNC functionaries from Budgam district at the party headquarters here. He urged them to prepare for the upcoming by-election for Budgam assembly segment, Panchayat, and ULB elections.
Sagar emphasised the importance of securing a victory for the party with significantly larger margins. “It is imperative that we are thoroughly prepared and united in our endeavours to achieve success in the upcoming elections. I’m confident that our party members are always prepared for such challenges and are actively engaged with people. Our public outreach programme must be intensified in anticipation of the upcoming elections, with a specific focus on engaging with the youth,” he said.
Salman further said that the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is diligently working towards fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “Our manifesto is not just a piece of paper, it is a solemn oath that we will honour every commitment made within it,” he said, adding, “The government has already taken significant steps to rectify the developmental and administrative setbacks of the previous decade, but there is still much work to be done.”
The MLA Hazratbal added, “Undoing the injustices inflicted upon our people will not happen overnight; it will require time. With a five-year mandate and Omar sahib leading the charge, we are committed to upholding the promises made to the people and ensuring that every pledge is fulfilled.”
