Srinagar, Mar 08: J&K Peoples Conference on Friday extended a hearty welcome to hundreds of socio-political activists from Drugmulla, Handwara, as they joined the party with great zeal, expressing profound admiration for its public-centric agenda, the PC said.
The joining event was attended by the party president Sajad Gani Lone who warmly embraced the new members into the PC fold, the party said in a statement issued here.
In his address, Lone urged the newly joined members to actively promote the party’s vision among the local populace while emphasizing the pivotal role of grassroots activism in driving tangible progress.
“Peoples Conference has emerged as a unifying force in Jammu and Kashmir, championing the principles of development and public welfare crucial for our region’s prosperity. Our momentum continues to surge as we strive towards a brighter future for all sections of the society,” he said.
Sajad credited the enduring support for the party and people’s affection to the leadership’s “unwavering commitment to their aspirations and welfare which are firmly grounded in the values of progress, unity and inclusivity”.
PC President reiterated his commitment to fulfill promises made to the people, affirming, “Peoples Conference remains steadfast in its promise to restore our region’s lost glory, ensuring abundant opportunities for our youth and placing public welfare as our top priority.”
Expressing gratitude to the party president for the generous welcome, the new members affirmed their dedication to tirelessly advancing the party’s objectives at the grassroots level, the PC said.
