Srinagar, June 20: Jammu and Kashmir National Conference general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar on Tuesday paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Hazrat Muhammad Amin Mantaqi Owaisi Naqshbandi (RA) following his annual Urs observed at his revered shrine in Aalikadal, Srinagar.
He was accompanied by the party’s local unit functionaries and YNC office bearers on the visit. He prayed for lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion.
Later, he visited Khanqah-e-Moula Srinagar to take stock of the ongoing arrangements for the annual Urs of Hazrat Amir-e-Kabir Mir Syed Ali Hamadani (RA).
While interacting with the officials of stakeholder departments and caretakers he said, “All the stakeholders should work in tandem to ensure all facilities to the devotees during the Urs observance days. Transport and parking, sanitation, and other basic utility services should be prioritised by the authorities during the Urs observance at the shrine.”
