Srinagar, Sep 06:In a significant political development, Raziya Jabeen, the District President of the Mahila Congress from Harwan, and Prof. Jalal Ud Din Wani from Tangmarg have officially joined the Janta Dal United (JDU). Their transition to JDU was marked by a formal event held in the presence of the party’s state president, G.M. Shaheen, and Khalid Anwar, a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council representing JDU.
The event highlighted the expanding influence and appeal of JDU in the region. Raziya Jabeen, who has been an influential figure in the Mahila Congress, brings with her a wealth of experience in women’s advocacy and district-level political organization. Her move is seen as a strategic gain for JDU, which aims to bolster its presence and influence in the Harwan district.
Prof. Jalal Ud Din Wani, known for his academic contributions and political activism in Tangmarg, adds significant intellectual and grassroots credibility to JDU. His alignment with the party is expected to enhance JDU’s outreach and strengthen its position in the Tangmarg area.
The event was marked by expressions of mutual support and optimism. G.M. Shaheen, the state president of JDU, welcomed the new members with a commitment to work together towards shared political goals. Khalid Anwar, who also spoke at the event, emphasized the strategic importance of this new alignment for JDU’s growth and its potential impact on upcoming political developments.
The integration of Raziya Jabeen and Prof. Jalal Ud Din Wani into JDU signifies a strengthening of the party’s political strategy, reflecting a broader trend of realignment and coalition-building within regional politics.
