In continuation to war against drugs, Police on Sunday have seized Psychotropic Substance & a vehicle used in the commission of the crime in the jurisdiction of PP Shadipora in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
A Police spokesperson said, “On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta-IPS, Police Post Shadipora on recieved information through reliable sources that one person namely Manzoor Ahmad Bhat@ Setha S/O Late Gh Mohd Bhat R/O Batwina has put some banned drugs at his residential house with an intention to sell them to the local youth of the area. Acting Swiftly, Police Party led by I/C PP Shadipora PSI Irfan Ahmad under the supervision of Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS Hqr’s Ganderbal conducted raid at the house of the accused and during the search, Psychotropic Substance (Banned Drugs) Supasmoproxyvon-Plus (10 Strips) was recovered from the vehicle Scorpio bearing Registration No. JK16-0901 belonging to the accused.”
“The Contraband Substance & vehicle used in the commission of the crime was seized on the spot. The accused has escaped & will be put behind the bars soon”, he said.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 33/2024, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Ganderbal & further investigation taken up.
