Budgam, Sep 07: Democratic Progressive Azad Party on Thursday said several prominent political activists from the Pakherpora area of Chari-Sharief Constituency officially joined the party.
According to a statement, they joined the party in the presence of DPAP leader Er Nazir Yatoo.
During his tour, Er Yatoo met various public delegations of the area and visited the Sub District Hospital Pakherpora where he observed that essential medical equipment is available but there is a shortage of staff which is impacting the quality of healthcare services provided to the residents, the statement said.
He appealed to the LG administration to take swift and positive steps to improve the healthcare infrastructure in Pakherpora. He stressed the need for maternity surgeries to be conducted at the Sub District Hospital. The authorities must ensure that the expectant mothers receive the care they deserve without having to travel long distances to access medical services, he said.
