Srinagar, Feb 01: Following the heavy snowfall along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir, the security forces are maintaining close vigil and high-end equipment is used to counter the infiltration bids, officials said.
A top security official told Rising Kashmir that they have been advised to remain on high alert along the LoC following the heavy snowfall along the various sectors in Kupwara, Baramulla and Bandipora districts.
“We are always vigilant and alert to safeguard the border and there will be no compromise on the safety, security of the people. We are using high-tech surveillance along the LoC in north Kashmir to track the enemy, infiltration, and other suspicious movements,” he said.
The official said they have installed multiple high-tech 360 CCTV cameras along the LoC. They are tracking each and everything along the fence between the two countries,” he said.
“We monitor the situation anytime. If there is any movement along the LoC at any particular point. It is being cross-checked from the concerned party deputed at the same location, then further steps are being taken,” he added.
The security officer said they don’t lower guard and they have to be alert as the enemy is always trying to foil peace with its nefarious designs.
