Jammu, Jan 30: Priya Sethi, National Executive Member, BJP and former Minister, has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has fulfilled the aspirations of crores of Sanatanis by paving way for the Ram Temple at Ayodhya.
She was speaking at the programme organised by Dharam Jagran Samanvay in connection with construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya after a long gap of nearly 500 years.
The former minister said that the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple was the landmark occasion for every Indian. She asserted that January 22 was a historic day for the whole world as the consecration ceremony of the Ram Lalla in Ayodhya marked the beginning of the Ram Raj not only in India but across the globe.
Priya Sethi said that Ram Lalla had to be housed in a tent for so many decades, it is the BJP Govt led by PM Modi that has fulfilled the promise of finally installing the deity in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple after settlement of the long drawn litigation by the Supreme Court of the nation. She said that January 22 opened a new chapter in India for the ultimate welfare and prosperity of the nation and its people.
The senior BJP leader attributed the delay in the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to the Congress and other political parties. She asserted that the Ram Temple could have been built shortly after independence.
Priya Sethi lauded PM Modi’s unwavering commitment to the cultural and religious sentiments of the people, hailing the Ram Temple project as a monumental achievement that resonates with the collective spirit of the nation. She underscored the significance of the Prime Minister’s role in not only realizing a cherished dream but also reinforcing the cultural fabric of the country.
The former minister urged the people to remain vigilant against anti-national elements that may attempt to disrupt the communal harmony of the Union Territory. Emphasizing the importance of unity, she underscored the need for people to stand together, transcending religious and cultural differences, to uphold the inclusive and pluralistic values that define the fabric of the nation.
Earlier, the program commenced with Ram Vandana, followed by Sunder Kaand Paath and Shri Hanuman Chalisa. People from all walks of life participated in the event.
