Ganderbal, Jany 10: The Sub Transmission Division of Ganderbal has issued strict instructions to ensure uninterrupted power supply on the 33kV Kangan-Surfraw Line from January 11 to January 13, 2024. This directive has been put in place in view of the scheduled VVIP visit to the Z-Morh Tunnel on January 13.
According to an order issued by Power Department, in view of the VVIP visit to the Z-Morh Tunnel scheduled for January 13, “you (PDD officials) are hereby directed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply on the 33kV Kangan-Surfraw Line from 11-01-2024 to 13-01-2024. This line is critical as it feeds the Z-Morh Tunnel.”
The order further reads that “you are instructed to take all necessary measures, including deploying additional resources if required, to ensure seamless power availability during this period. Any lapse in compliance will be viewed seriously.”
Meanwhile, the Assistant Engineer of the Sub Transmission Sub Division Ganderbal has been tasked with overseeing the smooth functioning of the power infrastructure during this critical period.
