Srinagar, Mar 26: More than a hundred prominent activists and young individuals from Zadibal have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday.
The joining ceremony was held at Church Lane, Srinagar, in the presence of Sat Sharma, President of BJP J&K, and Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organization) of BJP J&K.
As the new members were welcomed into the party with BJP Patkas, Sat Sharma highlighted the party’s commitment to development and empowerment in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that the participation of the youth reflects the trust the public has in the BJP’s vision for progress, good governance, and stability.
“The BJP is dedicated to the betterment of every section of society through our promise of ‘Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas,'” Sharma said. He expressed confidence that the party’s approach has endeared it to the people, stating, “Today, the citizens believe that Jammu & Kashmir can only progress under the leadership of BJP.” He urged the new entrants to contribute meaningfully in the upcoming elections.
Ashok Koul, addressing the gathering, highlighted the expanding reach of BJP across Jammu and Kashmir. “People have faith in our policies and leadership. We are tirelessly working to ensure inclusive growth and provide opportunities for the youth. The joining of such a large number of individuals is a testament to the public’s belief in our vision for Jammu and Kashmir,” he asserted.
J&K BJP Vice-President Sofi Yousuf said the event was “another milestone” in the party’s growth, “People from diverse backgrounds are embracing the BJP’s mission and ideology,” he said.
Adv Sheikh Salman, BJP District President Srinagar, asked the new members to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
Suhail Ahmad, BJP Constituency President for Zadibal, assured party leadership of their commitment to working for societal welfare under the BJP’s guidance.
