Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti on Children’s day wrote that our hearts are with the Children and Youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Mehbooba Mufti wrote, “On #ChildrensDay, our hearts are with the children and youth of Jammu & Kashmir, who have endured decades of conflict and uncertainty. Their dreams have often been overshadowed by strife and lost opportunities.”
“In recent years, flawed recruitment policies and rampant scams have further shaken their faith in institutions, leaving their future hanging in the balance”, she added.
“As one of India’s youngest states, we have an urgent duty to empower and nurture these young minds, steering them away from despair, drugs, and disillusionment. Our commitment is to rebuild trust, so they find hope and purpose within the democratic framework not beyond it. @MehboobaMufti”, mentioned in a post on X.
