Senior BJP leader Tarun Chugh made sharp remarks on the opposition while lauding the Modi government’s developmental initiatives.
Chugh criticized the “INDI Alliance,” calling it a group riddled with internal power struggles. “The Samajwadi Party, DMK, Shiv Sena, and now Mamata Banerjee’s TMC are all pulling in different directions. Congress, under Rahul Gandhi, has become a liability. A party built on nepotism, corruption, and loot cannot last long,” he said.
Targeting the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Chugh accused Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal of fiscal mismanagement. “In 11 years, AAP has destroyed Delhi’s budget. They make false promises, but even their own finance department has rejected them. Delhi’s people have made up their minds to bid goodbye to Kejriwal,” he said.
Chugh asserted that the Modi government is fully committed to farmers’ welfare. “Congress only uses farmers for political gains, but PM Modi’s government has transformed agricultural welfare,” he said. “During UPA rule, only ₹25,000 crore was allocated for farmers. Today, the central budget dedicates ₹1.52 lakh crore to agriculture, and crores of farmers benefit from the Kisan Samman Nidhi,” Chugh added.
Chugh praised the government’s efforts in education and infrastructure. “PM Modi’s cabinet has approved 85 new Kendriya Vidyalayas and 28 Navodaya Vidyalayas, which will provide affordable, high-quality education to over 82,000 children,” he said.
“The Delhi Metro’s Rithala-Kundli Corridor will make commuting easier and reduce pollution in the capital,” he added.
Chugh said that government’s focus is on development while accusing the opposition of disunity and inefficiency. “PM Modi’s vision is transforming India, while the opposition continues to falter,” he said.
