Operation Sadbhavana: Indian Army donates desks, equipment worth Rs 2 Lakh to Govt Hr Sec School Rabta

Jammu, June 16: In a significant gesture of support and goodwill, the Indian Army has donated desks and other essential items worth Rs 2 lakh to Government Higher Secondary School Rabta as part of Operation Sadbhavana. The handover ceremony was graced by distinguished guests and local dignitaries.
Mohan Lal Bhagat (JKPS), Senior Superintendent of Police and Special Officer to ADGP Railway, served as the chief guest of the event. Speaking on the occasion, SSP Mohan Lal Bhagat commended the Indian Army for their noble initiative and emphasized the importance of education in nation-building. He expressed hope that the new desks and equipment would create a more conducive learning environment for the students and encourage them to pursue their studies with greater enthusiasm.
Atul Sudan, a prominent youth and social activist and the guest of honor, also addressed the gathering. He praised the Indian Army for their continuous efforts to uplift local communities through Operation Sadbhavana. Atul Sudan highlighted the pivotal role of education in empowering youth and fostering social change. He encouraged the students to make the best use of the resources provided and strive for academic excellence.
The occasion also saw the presence of former Sarpanches from the region, including Ex-Sarpanch Gorda Ashwani Kumar, Ex-Sarpanch Keri Nashatar Singh, Ex-Sarpanch Rabta Mohd Anwar, and Ex-Sarpanch Neelam Devi Bagani. Officials from the Indian Army, along with local Sarpanches, formally handed over the materials to the school authorities. The donated items are expected to significantly enhance the educational infrastructure of the school, providing students with better learning environments and resources.
Operation Sadbhavana, an initiative by the Indian Army, aims to promote goodwill and contribute to the socio-economic development of communities in various regions. The donation to Govt Hr Sec School Rabta reflects the Army’s commitment to fostering education and supporting local communities.
